From Flock to Notes

Inspired by her love for music, Elizabeth asked us to create a design to reflect her passion and her profession.  Being a musician with a partner equally as passionate about music it was important to Liz that her wedding stationery reflected who they were as a couple.  Taking our popular flock design and a much loved piece of music provided by Liz, we transformed the dramatic flock feature into something much more musical. The result, beautiful, timeless, classical stationery.

New Year, New Stationery

Welcome to a whole New Wonderful Year!

We love January....mostly for bringing with it that feeling of 'new beginnings and fresh starts'. Feeling refreshed following a Christmas break visiting family in Los Angeles and energised by how a bit of sun can make you feel, we have already created new designs for launching in this years favourite wedding colours, in the throws of building our new website and I'm loving chatting with all my lovely brides who's summer 2014 weddings are now quickly approaching! It's all go in January in the world of 'weddings'!

Perfectly packaged!

Another lovely set of wedding invitations perfectly packaged ready to leave the building, and it was a real treat to work with yet another great soon to be married couple.  We wish you a fabulous summer wedding R&E, and hope this kooky set of stationery we designed for you did the trick!

Say it with words!

I came across this while looking for inspiration for our new range of typographic themed wedding invitations, I just loved the words.

Mint green for 2013

You simply can't go wrong with a hint of 'mint'.  A wedding trend for 2013 that is slowly creeping in and taking over from our firm favourite and much loved 'cadburys purple'.  'MINT', a colour designed to ooze 'freshness', create a lighthearted elegance, embraces all that is 'Spring', and looks almost good enough to eat.  From soft, floaty chiffon dresses to bouquets with a hint of pink to bring warmth to a somewhat rather cool colour, through to wedding invitations that introduce your wedding and the thank you card that completes your day. A mint theme can create a truly, gorgeous, tasteful and delightfully fresh wedding.
 

 

Lets GO with 2013!

2012 was a great year for us, we moved to our lovely new home in Hitchin, I took up a new role as a part time writer for two great brothers in business in the nursery industry and developed Beau to encompass even more great designs while enjoying my spare time at home with the children. I've worked with some wonderful clients and together we have produced some beautiful wedding stationery. We've enjoyed an Easter week away exploring the New Forest, a family summer holiday in Tuscany and a camping week with good friends in the Isle of Wight. We saw our adorable son turn 4 and our beautiful daughter turn 6. Enjoyed Christmas fun in Newcastle with the family and New Year celebrations in Hitchin with our friends.

Now, lets go with 2013! a time for new challenges, good times and all new Beau designs.  Here are a few snaps from two wonderful family trips away this year.

A Hertfordshire Fairytale

It's great to see our Wedding Stationery in action! And here are just a few snaps taken at the wedding of Tracey and Paul in September this year, our 'Flock' design in a gorgeous blue/grey, plus the happy couple themselves.  I just loved Tracey's idea for a seating plan.......out with the typical A1 printed poster in a glass frame, propped up with perfection on a carefully placed easel, and in with a battered old trunk off Ebay, a few hotch potch pegs, some pretty ribbon and of course 14 unique individual table plan cards designed and printed by us. Smashing!
